Watermark, the Chesapeake’s premier tour, charter and cruise company located in Annapolis, MD is pleased to announce a new addition to its leadership team. Beth Brown, an Annapolis resident and marketing and sales executive, has been brought on board to lead the company’s business development efforts.
As the company’s new Chief Development Officer, Ms. Brown takes over the helm bringing with her 20+ years of hospitality, events, marketing and sales experience to Watermark. She left a job with Glamour Magazine in New York to move to Maryland in 1988 and became the Director of Sports Promotions and Marketing for the Naval Academy Athletic Association, before joining DavCo Restaurants as Vice President of Marketing and then Choice Hotels International in Business Development.
Ms. Brown has been active in many local business organizations having served on the Board of the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau, the former Anne Arundel Trade Council and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, as well as having been active in the Rotary Club of Annapolis.
Debbie Gosselin, Watermark’s President remarks, “I am enthusiastic about this significant addition to our company’s staff. Beth has a proven track record of success and I know her to be an innovative leader who is very, very passionate about her work.”
Brown said, “It is truly a pleasure to be back working in Annapolis with a company that is as much a part of city’s identity as the harbor itself. I am looking forward to building on the outstanding reputation Watermark has established in the charter, tours and cruise business throughout the Annapolis-Baltimore-Washington area.” She adds, “I have known Debbie for many years and admired how she has steered Watermark, establishing it as a leading hospitality company.”
About Watermark
Watermark, originally Chesapeake Marine Tours, began by offering a single sightseeing cruise to St. Michael’s aboard Annapolitan in 1972. The company quickly expanded its scope of operations to include its iconic harbor tours, water taxi service and luxury yacht charters. The company merged in 2004 with Three Century Tours creating Watermark to immerse people in the history, culture and fun of the Annapolis area more completely than any tour or charter company – by land and water.
